Raymarine marine electronics we install on Long Island
Raymarine's Axiom series combines all-glass multi-touch displays with integrated RealVision 3D sonar and LightHouse charts out of the box. These are refined, fast-updating displays built for serious Long Island anglers and cruisers running offshore.
- Axiom touchscreen chartplotters (7"–9")
- Axiom Pro multi-function displays (9"–16")
- Axiom XL large-format displays (16"–24")
- Quantum 2 Doppler radar — detects moving and stationary targets
- Evolution EV-100/EV-200/EV-400 autopilot systems
- RealVision 3D sonar transducers
- Ray73/Ray90 VHF radio with integrated AIS
- AIS700 Class B transponder
Why Long Island boaters choose Raymarine
Raymarine Quantum 2 is the only Doppler radar designed for recreational boats. It separates moving targets from stationary ones using the Doppler effect — so you see rain, boat traffic, and fixed hazards as distinct, color-coded overlays. For Long Island offshore runs where weekend traffic is dense, this is a genuine safety advantage.
The Evolution autopilot series uses an IMU (inertial measurement unit) sensor — the same technology used in aircraft autopilots — to maintain course even in confused seas. The EV-100, EV-200, and EV-400 cover hydraulic, mechanical, and linear drive systems for virtually any boat running out of Long Island.
LightHouse charts come preloaded on every Axiom display — comprehensive coverage for Northeast coastal and offshore fishing grounds. Pair that with RealVision 3D sonar and you get a complete picture of both surface and bottom.

What Long Island boat owners say about LIME Raymarine installations.
Perfect 5-star rating on Google. Every review is a real customer from a real Long Island marina.
★★★★★
LIME installed a full Raymarine helm on my 307: Axiom Pro 12, Quantum 2 radar, and Evolution EV-200 autopilot. Everything paired up on the first try. Cleanest wiring I've ever seen. 5 stars without question.
— Mike T., Grady-White 307
★★★★★
Had another "installer" mess up my electronics. LIME came in, diagnosed the wiring nightmare, fixed it correctly, and upgraded the whole helm. These guys know what they're doing.
— Rich S., Contender 39 ST
★★★★★
Best in the business on Long Island. NMEA certified, professional, and the cleanest wiring I've ever seen. Worth every penny.

Frequently asked questions about Raymarine installation
What is the difference between Raymarine Axiom and Axiom Pro?
The Axiom uses a traditional LCD screen and is an excellent entry-level multifunction display. The Axiom Pro upgrades to an all-glass IPS touchscreen with significantly better outdoor brightness and color accuracy. For a Long Island offshore boat where sun glare is an issue, the Axiom Pro's screen quality is a meaningful upgrade. Both run the same LightHouse OS and support the same accessories.
Can I add Raymarine Quantum 2 radar to my existing chartplotter?
Yes. Quantum 2 connects to Raymarine Axiom displays via Wi-Fi or ethernet. If your display is a supported Axiom, Axiom Pro, or Axiom XL model, Quantum 2 can be added as an overlay without replacing the chartplotter. The Doppler feature requires Quantum 2 specifically — not the original Quantum.
Do you install Raymarine Evolution autopilot systems?
Yes. We install Evolution EV-100, EV-200, and EV-400 autopilot systems — including the ACU (actuator control unit), p70 controller, and network integration. The EV-series uses an IMU sensor for precise, sea-state-aware steering. A properly installed Raymarine Evolution autopilot can maintain compass heading, GPS track, or chart route automatically.
Is Raymarine compatible with my existing NMEA 2000 network?
Yes. Raymarine devices are NMEA 2000 certified and can share data with Garmin, Simrad, Furuno, and other brand devices on the same network. SeaTalkNG (Raymarine's proprietary bus) is compatible with NMEA 2000 via a converter cable. We handle mixed-brand NMEA 2000 installations regularly.
What charts come preloaded on Raymarine Axiom displays?
All Axiom displays come with LightHouse charts preloaded — vector and raster charts for US coastal and inland waters. LightHouse+ is the premium subscription with auto-updating charts and enhanced detail. Navionics and C-MAP charts are also compatible via SD card. We recommend LightHouse+ for Long Island boaters running offshore.
How long does a Raymarine installation take on Long Island?
A single chartplotter replacement with NMEA 2000 integration typically takes 4–6 hours. A full multi-display helm build with Quantum 2 radar, Evolution autopilot, and RealVision 3D sonar runs 1–2 days depending on the boat. We give you a written estimate with a time range before we start — no surprises on schedule or cost.
